Express This!

Good morning, everyone. I've been up since the crack of dawn, really before that; I think I actually was there long before, and waiting for the crack of dawn to appear. One of those restless nights. Don't you hate those?

Patsy, Bec and Jacob will be coming over tonight. Patsy will be bringing her famous chicken barbecue, not to be confused with barbecued chicken. I don't know what's for dessert, but I'll be posting that tomorrow along with our other adventures that I'm sure we'll be having tonight. Thursday is my favorite day of the week.

Yesterday Patsy came by and we went in search of a body of water. She's taking another photography class, and water is her first assignment in a series of exercises she must accomplish during the course. Before the class is over she will capture all the elements in her lens. (Wind should be interesting.) I can't wait to see the slides. We found a pond with fountains over at the hospital. The ducks and geese were very friendly. (We had to watch where we stepped;those cute little ducks and geese drop little packages all over the place.) Well, that's nature I guess.

I haven't set up instant messaging yet. Comcast doesn't offer it but I think I can do a free download or something from AOL. That's my task today. I don't use it much, but I like to be able to instant message with my sister and Bec. Sometimes when Bec is at work and having some down time she will IM me. She's good at multitasking. I've never known anyone who could keep so many irons in the fire at once. Makes me dizzy to think about it.

Yesterday I fooled around with Outlook Express. What a mess. I don't think it's for me. It was so unfamiliar to me. Maybe I'll check it out another time. I've seen other blogs that have links to their email, so I got a brainstorm that I was going to do that too. I did go into the template, and put my email address on the bottom of the blog, and that's how it all began. I set it up as a link, but when I clicked on it Outlook Express came up. Since I didn't know anything about Outlook Express, and hadn't set it up, one thing led to another. (you can see where this is going) I figured out how to set it up, then I got Bec to send me an email and I successfully received it. Then, after all that, I decided I didn't want it. What a goof.

I hope all is well with everyone. I'm signing off so I can go down and get a cup of coffee. I need it..........and then it's onward and upward to installing instant messaging.
